Renovation of an educational facility in Springfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Generally the work includes: Renovations at Matheny Withrow Elementary School and remodeling of the existing systems or areas as indicated. Mechanical Systems Modifications and Upgrades. Bids shall include: 1. Properly completed Proposal Form in duplicate 2. Bid Deposit in the amount of 10% of Bid. 3. Not less than the prevailing hourly wage as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor pursuant to Illinois Revised Statutes, Ch. 489, Sec. 39s-1 et. seq Successful bidder will be required to provide Payment and Performance bonds each equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. Surety on the bond shall be by a duly authorized U.S Treasury Backed company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois, acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding which, in their considered opinion is warranted. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening without written consent of the Owner.
