Site work for a mixed-use development in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a library; and playground / park / athletic field.
5 Bids received, no dollar amounts given It is the City's intent to install a multi-component, modular playground near the City of Davenport's Fairmount Library, 3000 North Fairmount Street, Davenport. This is a new playground. Design should include proposed location for benches; however, the bench purchase and installation will be handled in a separate bid. The City will award this proposal to one vendor/manufacturer. Play equipment should be delivered to 232 South Marquette Street. Delivery will need to be coordinated with Parks operations staff. Equipment should be delivered on pallets which are secure and easily moved. Playground should have elements for children ages 2-12. All schematic drawings should be done utilizing the colors blue, white and gray. To provide designs and playground equipment to be installed near the Fairmount library. Installation is not part of this Request for Proposals Questions regarding the requested services shall be submitted in writing to questions tab on the ebidding website by April 3rd , 2023 @ 10:00 AM CST. Answers to questions, if any, will be posted by April 4th , 2023 @ 2:00 PM CST. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in whole or in part, to waive any irregularities in any proposal, to accept the proposal which, in the judgement of the City is most advantageous to the City and to re-advertise if desired.
