11 work sections which are comprised of pulverizing, rubblizing, pavement removals, excavation, grading, sanitary sewer and storm sewer construction, curb and gutter, asphaltic and concrete pavement, concrete sidewalk, asphaltic path, pavement sawcutting, pavement marking, signing, traffic control, erosion control, and restoration. Major work items and approximate quantities include: 32,400 square yards of pulverizing asphaltic pavement, 1,000 square yards of rubblizing, 6,000 cubic yards of excavation common, 9,900 tons of base aggregate, 9,450 tons of HMA pavement, 10,600 linear feet of curb and gutter, 7,200 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 12,000 square yards of concrete pavement, 170 linear feet of various sized storm sewer and storm structures, 247 linear feet of 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer and appurtenances, 17,600 linear feet of various pavement markings, and 3500 square yards of lawn restoration. \ This is a unit price contract. The estimated quantities as indicated above and on the Bid Schedule are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. \ Project is to be substantially complete on, or before, October 14, 2023. Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids It is anticipated that the award of the project will occur on at the Village Board meeting on April 24, 2023
