Horsham Township intends to install 85 decorative pedestrian light fixtures and associated site and electrical improvements within the Township's Business Park along Dresher Road, Witmer Road, Prudential Road and Gibraltar Road. The anticipated construction cost is $1.3 million dollars. The Township was awarded a PennDOT Multimodal Transportation Grant for design and construction of the improvements. The bidding process for the construction of the project improvements will be bid through PennDOT's Engineering and Construction Management System (ECMS) in 2023. As part of the grant requirements, the Township intends to retain a qualified consultant to provide full-time on-site construction oversight and inspection during construction. Construction is anticipated to commence in summer of 2023 and be completed by Spring of 2024.
