Renovation of a mixed-use development in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Each Proposal shall be submitted be accompanied by a Proposal Security (a Certified Check or Bid Bond) in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Total Proposal Price. The Proposer to whom a contract is offered, must furnish to the City, if that contract has a total cost greater than $50,000.00, a 100 percent Performance Bond with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City. In the City's sole discretion, it may also require a 100 percent Payment Bond and/or other additional security with a surety, and in a form, acceptable to the City. Clean and repair tile as needed, grout and seal. Address concrete spalling in pump room. Repair or replace gutter gratings. Replace starting platforms. Replace stanchions and flags. Refurbish pool lighting. Install sodium bisulfate tablet feeder. Replace pool filter & backwash tank. Install UV system for water quality & safety. The City reserves the right to award in part, to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part for misrepresentation or if the proposer is in default of any prior City contract, or if the proposal limits or modifies any of the terms and conditions and/or specifications of the RFP. The City also reserves the right to waive technical defects, irregularities and omissions if, in its judgment, the best interest of the City will be served. Question Deadline 09/29/2023 at 2:00 PM ET
