Site work and paving for a civil project in Bentonville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
This project seeks to improve stormwater drainage generally flowing southwest from downtown Bentonville toward the floodplain at Little Osage Creek Tributary and Sam Walton Boulevard. Reinforced concrete box culvert and concrete pipe will be installed below grade starting at the downstream end of the project on the north side of SW 8th Street. Storm sewer and box culverts extend to the intersection of SW 3rd/SW B Street to the northeast, and to the SW 4th/SW F Street intersection to the northwest. Over 1,600 feet of concrete pipe and over 1,800 feet of concrete box culvert are included in this project. The project also includes channel excavation and approximately 700 square yards of concrete channel lining. Relocation of existing water lines will be performed at three crossing locations as well as adjustments to meters and valves. Over 2,400 linear feet of curb and gutter and over 2300 square yards of asphalt pavement is included in this project.
