Supplemental staffing and support nonprofessional services for the operations and maintenance activities on the five (5) Movable Bridges (JRB, High Rise, Berkley, Chincoteague, and Coleman) All inquiries for information must be directed in writing to: Frederick Haasch; Fred.Haasch@vdot.virginia.gov via email. No questions will be answered orally Location where work will be performed: Hampton Roads District Initial period of contract: Three (3) years with effective date determined at the time of award with two (2) optional one-year (1- yr.) renewal periods PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: The successful Offeror shall deliver to the purchasing office executed Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the sum of 50% of the contract amount, with the Commonwealth of Virginia as obligee. The surety shall be a surety company or companies approved by the State Corporation Commission to transact business in the Commonwealth of Virginia. No payment shall be due and payable to the Contractor, even if the contract has been performed in whole or in part, until the bonds have been delivered to and approved by the purchasing office. Standard bond forms will be provided by the purchasing office prior to or at the time of award. Bonds must stay valid during the term of the contract Question Deadline 07/21/2023 at 3:00 PM ET
