The purpose of the ITB is to solicit bids to establish a contract for annual fire system inspections and services at the Hampton/NASA Steam Plant. General Requirements: The contractor shall furnish all necessary supervision, labor, tools, parts, and equipment required to perform inspections, maintenance, repair, and testing of the fire protection system located at the Hampton/NASA Steam Plant. All inspections, testing, and services performed by the contractor shall meet the National Fire Protection Association Standard (NFPA). Specific Requirements: Contractor shall perform services to the highest standard in the fire safety industry. The Hampton/NASA Steam Plant fire protection system consists of a Notifier NFS-320 fire panel, Viking Total Pac Deluge System, Firetrol Fire Pump Controller, Patterson Fire Pump, 22 pull stations, 10 smoke detectors, 8 heat detectors and 17 bell/strobe units.
