Renovation of a mixed-use development in Greeley, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Every request for such interpretation shall be made in writing, to the Project Manager and shall be received two (2) calendar days prior to the bid date. Question Deadline 04/12/2023 Owner is exempt from State and local sales and use taxes on products and equipment permanently incorporated in the work. Obtain sales tax exemption certificate number from the Owner or State of Colorado Department of Revenue, 1375 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203. Contractor shall: 1) Place exemption certificate number on invoices for materials incorporated in the work. 2) Furnish copies of invoices to the Owner. 3) Upon completion of work, file with the Owner a notarized statement that all purchases made under the exemption certificate were entitled to be exempt. 4) Pay legally assessed penalties for improper use of exemption certificate number. The Contractor shall be responsible for securing and paying for fees and inspections necessary for proper execution and completion of the work. A building permit is not required Contractor shall follow all applicable Federal, State, and Local building codes. o Electrical to be done by Contractor. o Permit and controls to be done by School District o Remove and dispose of (1) existing York 140 ton liquid cooled chiller. Remove and dispose of (1) BAC Cooling tower, associated piping, and all unnecessary material. o Provide and install (1) One York YCWL0132SE, as specified or District approved equal. Provide and install (1) BAC Cooling tower as a one for one swap out with the original specified unit, model # VT0-102-L (see original attached submittal) Include all labor and materials necessary. Crane, rigging, and all necessary re-piping for chiller connection provided by the contractor. Water balance of system by contractor when complete. Walk through will provide details of piping re-configuration. o Installed/Provided by Contractor: a. Refrigerant type: R410a b. Power: 200-3-60 c. Control Transformer d. SP NF Disconnect Switch w/ Lockable handle e. Unit warranty: 18 months from shipment f. Compressor External Overloads o Replace existing building and tower pumps with like for like. o Provide and install new strainers for condenser and evaporator systems. o The School District will require additional supply and return thermal well outlets for District BMS. Mechanical Scope of Work Provided by Contractor 1. Demo of existing piping in order to pull chiller out of door and tower off roof 2. Rigging and forklifting of old and new chiller and tower replacement 3. Refinishing of Tower stand. (Scuff, prime, and paint). 4. Installation of new chiller/tower 5. Removal of control panel on existing chiller to get out of the double door 6. Provide and installation of new 4" steel piping overhead and down to new chiller connections 7. Provide and installation of new butterfly valves at equipment for isolation and service 8. Provide and installation of new Thermometers, pressure gauges and P&T's (trim out) 9. Provide and installation of support stands and hangers for all piping installed 10. Insulation of all piping disturbed or installed by installation 11. Balancing of HVAC water piping 12. Water samples and chemical treatment if needed 13. Valve tagging and labels 14. Removal of chiller, tower, and pipe associated with project from site o Fill system to meet chiller manufacturer's standards and an inhibited glycol level of 30%. Price to include (6) 55 gallon barrels of glycol. Remaining glycol to be left in the chiller room for future use. o Balancing of system flow as required. o Test all safety devices. o Provide factory start up.
