Renovation of an educational facility in New Britain, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Project consists of the following: 1. HVAC and related work including hazardous material removal/Structural/Architectural to complete all HVAC work as described in the Construction Documents. 2. Removal of all hazardous materials. Refer to hazardous materials report and related description. 3. Coordinate with roofing contractor (separate Contract) for metal deck infill (existing exhaust fans), installation of all RTUs condensing units. 4. Reinstall any units which are existing to remain including all reconnections. 5. New RTU units, DOAS units, condensing units, including all blocking/new curbs, refrigerant piping, supports and necessary roof work. 6. All structural framing and metal deck infill. 7. New duct work including all architectural work. 8. All demolition of architectural work required to facilitate new construction and restoration of all disturbed work. 9. Temporary patch all floor openings with 3/4 plywood and safety tape for protection until all duct work is completed in all occupied spaces including making floor openings. 10. Coordinate all roof work with the Roofing Contractor (under separate Contract). 11. Remove/relocate all electrical not limited to data, projector/smartboard, clocks, classroom speakers. 12. Cut all toilet room doors for new louvers. 13. Classroom VFR units (Alternate No. 1) 14. Alternates Nos. 2 through 6. 15. Relocation of vent pipes and related work (patching of ceilings). The Consolidated School District of New Britain, will be accepting sealed bid proposals for the following:Qualified contractors for HVAC work for Slade Middle School, not limited to removal of Hazardous Material, Architectural and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing work.
