As of May 9, 2023, this project is in the conceptual phase. An architect has not been selected. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to April 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: HNTB Corporation (HNTB) is under contract to the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) to perform consulting engineering services for the Rehabilitation or Replacement of Ten (10) Bridges Carrying Routes 9 and 72 in the Towns of New Britain, Berlin, & Plainville. You are advised that any award resulting herefrom will be in the form of the referenced RFP including all exhibits and appendices thereto, asissued by HNTB. All communication, including questionsin connection with thisinquiryshall be directed exclusively to HNTB via the email above. Your proposal must conform in all respects with the terms and conditions of this RFP. Failure to fully complete and return the required forms and documents or to follow the instructionsincluded in the bid package,shall render the proposal non-responsive.
