The purpose of this document is to identify qualified Consultant(s) to provide Building Division and Fire Department support. The intent of the RFP is to encourage responses that clearly communicate the Consultants understanding of the Building Divisions requirements and for the Consultant to identify how their approach will successfully provide the services on time and within budget. The City is seeking to contract with qualified firms with expertise in and the ability to provide some combination of plan check, building inspection, code enforcement, and permitting services. Multiple firms may be selected to provide these services to the City. The Scope of Services is more specifically described under Attachment B of this RFP. More generally, the City desires a high level of professionalism and customer services to residents, businesses, contractors, and non-profit organizations through continuity of on call professional building services. The selected Consultant shall provide on call professional building services of residential or non-residential projects as requested by the City that fall under the areas of expertise noted in Section B above.
