City/County Westmont Reconstruction of Alley H With Pervious Materials Including Pervious Concrete Base Course and Brick Paver Surface Course, Installation of New Storm Sewer and Underdrain, Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement, New PCC Sidewalks, Curb and Gutter, Alley Aprons, and Other Associated Work. Project Location: The N-S alley bound by Cass Avenue, Dallas Street, Lincoln Street, and Richmond Street in Village of Westmont. Proposals requiring prequalification of bidders will be issued only to those contractors who are qualified with the Department of Transportation. Prequalification forms may be secured from the Engineer of Construction, Administration Building, 2300 South Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, IL 62764. ILDOT - Cbd Alley H Reconstruction The work as shown on the Plans and as specified herein includes reconstruction of the Village of Westmont alleys referred to as Alley H with the approximate surface area of 837 square yards. The roadways that bound Alley H are Lincoln Street, Richmond Street, Cass Avenue, and Dallas Street. The reconstruction work will generally consists of the following: earth excavation, concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter removal and installation, coarse aggregate installation, pervious concrete pavement, porous brick pavers, PCC driveway pavement, pavement patching, pipe underdrain and storm sewer installation, sanitary sewer removal and replacement, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the Plans and described herein. The work as shown on the Plans and as specified herein contain quantities for bid items listed in a bid schedule on a unit price basis. The total quantities and unit prices for the bid will be used in determining the lowest responsible bidder. Location and specifications of the work associated with the project are provided for clarity in Section VI - Contract Plans.
