The Corporation of the City of St. Catharines is inviting tenders for the St. Catharines Museum Concrete Walkway Replacement. Scope of work includes: - Removal of existing concrete sidewalk at both the front and rear entrances to the museum. - Removal of existing base material. - Installation of geotextile and geogrid and new base. - Installation of new slab on grade concrete sidewalk. - Installation of new structural slab entrance slabs. Scope of work includes the removal and replacement of the concrete paving at the front (west) and rear (east) building entrances to reinstate concrete walkways to match building floor elevation. Work includes structural concrete slabs dowelled into the building foundation immediately at each entrance. Removal of trench drain at rear patio, regrading of adjacent grassed areas, installation of landscape catchbasin and connection to existing tile drainage, and reinstatement of sod.
