23-006 After-hours Janitorial Services for the Jackson DMV Field Office Bidder Qualifications: All contractor personnel that will have access to sensitive information and/or personal information shall undergo and clear a background check prior to performing any services under the contract. Background checks shall be processed by an authorized Department of Justice (DOJ) Live Scan site. All contractor personnel that fail to pass the background check shall be banned from performing any services under the contract, and the contractor shall propose replacement personnel immediately. When requested by the contractor, the DMV will provide contractor personnel with authorized DOJ Live Scan services at DMV Headquarters in Sacramento, CA at no cost. The contractor shall be responsible for any costs incurred to complete background checks at any other location. Bidder shall submit a bid that complies with Government Code Section 19134 if utilizing employees to perform janitorial services or if not meeting Welfare and Institutions Code 19404 (see Attachment 2, Cost Sheet and Exhibit E, Employee Wages and Benefits for additional information).
