Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Jackson, California. Completed plans call civil work for a bridge / tunnel.

**As of May 17, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work is generally described as follows: Replacement of the French Bar Road Bridge, water main, sewer main and storm drain piping and appurtenances and roadway improvements adjacent to the French Bar Road Bridge in the City of Jackson. The French Bar Bridge (FBB) Replacement project will replace the existing single lane Bridge at South Fork of Jackson Creek with a new cast in place prestressed, post tensioned concrete bridge. The new bridge will be approximately 60 feet long by 35 feet wide and contain 2 drive lanes, 1 sidewalk, and crash rated barriers on each side. The existing roadway immediately connecting to the bridge will also be improved. Approximately 350 feet southwest and 250 feet northeast of the bridge. Once completed, the new bridge will not only improve roadway safety, but also helps to clear water channels in the area. Given the recent flooding situation, this bridge project could not have been more timely. Construction is expected to begin in July 2023 and take approximately 95 working days, completing in October 2023. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
