Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Sanford, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,326-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work involves the expansion of the RM of Macdonald WTP increasing treatment capacity for 60 L/s to 120 L/s by replacing the ultrafiltration membrane trains, adding new reverse osmosis membrane trains and adding a new greensand filtration package. The new 1,000 m2 pre-engineered building expansion includes a 2,500 m3 cast in place concrete reservoir below the expansion. The treatment equipment package was pre-selected by the Owner and will be transferred to the General Contractor by Novation Agreement. The work includes the demolition of existing plant equipment that will be abandoned with the upgrades. The Manitoba Water Services Board (MWSB) has Pre-Qualified the following five (5) General Contractors for this project: a. Canotech Consultants Ltd. b. Con-Pro Industries Canada Ltd. c. Gateway Construction & Engineering Ltd. d. Industra Construction Corp. e. Penn-co Construction Canada (2003) Ltd. Only the five (5) Pre-Qualified General Contractors above will have the opportunity to submit online bids to the MWSB Bids and Tender System for this project, all others will be rejected.
