The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) is requesting bids for the construction of sanitary and storm sewer system improvements including catch basins, manholes, and storm and sanitary sewers on the section of Queenston Street between Fairland Street and Lucina Avenue, on the section of Walton Avenue between Wayside Street and Queenston Street, on the section of Lucina Avenue between Wayside Street and Queenston Street, and on the paper street running parallel to Queenston Street between Walton Avenue and Lucina Avenue. Work also involves reconnecting private sanitary and storm laterals to the new system. Question Deadline 04/13/2023 at 4:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer the Procurement Office in writing. Locations will be within the Carrick neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh including work on Queenston St., Walton Ave., Lucina Ave., and Englert Way. Work of the Contract includes construction of new sanitary and storm sewers and laterals to be connected to the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) public sewer system including storm and sanitary sewer facilities as required or directed.
