The Des Moines Water Works ("Water Works") is requesting proposals from qualified landscaping firms licensed in the state of Iowa, to plant and maintain landscaping within the traffic medians on Fleur Drive in Des Moines, Iowa as described in this Request for Proposal ("RFP"). Whenever the following terms are used in this RFP, the intent and meaning shall be interpreted as follows: o The "Proposer" shall mean the landscaping firm that has submitted a proposal in response to this RFP. o The "Contractor" shall mean the Proposer selected by the Water Works who successfully executes an Independent Contractor Agreement with the Water Works for completing the scope of work described in this RFP.
