Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Mount Airy, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Town of Mount Airy is seeking proposals from Playground Contractors for the design and installation of a replacement playground at Summit Ridge Park. Award will be granted to the best, responsive bid. There will not be a pre-bid meeting for this project . However, the Contractor may contact the Town Engineer with any questions or to visit the premises. If the Contractor requires printed documents, then they may do so upon request to the Town Engineer at a fee determined at that time. Bids from prospective bidders who have not obtained these documents from one of these places will not be accepted. Inquiries concerning the scope and bidding documents or other technical questions shall be directed to the Town Engineer at 301-829-1424 (if automated phone system, select engineering). The Town of Mount Airy hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all participants, to reject any and all submissions and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in the proposal, and considering all purchase provisions of the Town Code to accept the proposal which, in the judgment of the Owner, is to its best interest.
