This work is located on various streets in Suisun City. The work to be performed, in general, consists of supplying all labor, materials, tools, equipment, implements and methods of process to place slurry seal treatment on various City streets. This work also includes surface preparation of all streets, digout repairs, crack sealing, protection of existing utilities and pavement delineation. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. For bonding purposes, the Engineers Estimate is $550,000 Inquiries or questions based on alleged patent ambiguity of the plans, specifications or estimate must be communicated as a bidder inquiry prior to bid opening. Any such inquiries or questions, submitted after bid opening, will not be treated as a bid protest. Refer to Section 2-1.06 of the Special Provisions for requirement of Contractors and Subcontractors to be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) to be eligible to submit a responsive bid. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1770 et seq. of the Labor Code of California, the Director of Industrial Relations for the State of California has ascertained the current general prevailing rate of wages for employer purposes, in Solano County, State of California.
