This will save both you and the Agency time in communication along with allowing documentation of all inquiries and responses within one area for all vendors to view. Scope Of Work: 1. Contractor shall repair garage in accordance with the attached construction documents provided by G2 Design Architects dated 1/10/2023. 2. Include all material and labor to complete scope of work. 3. Contractor to provide 6'-0" temporary construction fencing during the project for the safety of residents. II. General Notes: 1. Workdays and times to be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. No federal holidays. 2. The contractor shall visit the facility and become thoroughly familiar with the existing conditions and scope of work prior to bidding. Field verify all dimensions. 3. All products specs may be substituted with an "Approved Equal". For consideration, all proposed "Approved Equal" product submittals must be included with bid 4. All work shall be performed in a first class, workmanlike manner matching and aligning all surfaces, where applicable, to afford a finished and clean appearance. The contractor shall clean all surfaces and remove all dirt and refuse caused by debris from installation techniques of each trade. Adjacent existing surfaces shall be left as they appeared prior to the commencement of work under this contract. 5. Damages to surrounding areas: Contractor shall repair and/or replace any surrounding areas or items damaged while performing the scope of work. 6. Cleaning: Contractor shall leave all work areas clean at the end of each day. All construction debris shall be hauled off and disposed of offsite. 7. Fees & related costs: All required permit fees and associated costs shall be included in contractor's bid. 8. Prior to commencement of work, contractor shall meet with owner's representative for a preconstruction meeting. 9. Job duration: Job to be completed within thirty (30) business days from initial mobilization. a. Due to the pandemic, the contractor will be allowed extensions due to supply shortages and/or other unforeseen issues. b. Additional extensions will be made for weather conditions. 10. Liquidated damages: Shall be assessed at $100.00 per day. 11. Warranty: One year warranty on labor and material. 12. Site usage - use of the site for any construction staging or other operations shall be coordinated with PCHA. Take care not to block or adversely affect any public or adjacent owner areas, or other areas not within the construction limits.
