If the question involves the equality or use of products or methods, it must be accompanied by drawings, specifications or other data in sufficient detail to enable the Engineer to determine the equality or suitability of the product or method. In general, the Engineer will neither approve nor disapprove particular products prior to the opening of Bids; such products will be considered when offered by the Contractor for incorporation into the Work. The Town of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, hereby gives notice that sealed unit price Bids will be received for the reconstruction of approximately 1,700 lineal feet of HMA-paved rural roadway, construction of 540 lineal feet of HMA-paved roadway with concrete curb and gutter, expansion of three STH 42 turn lanes, reconstruction of nine existing driveways, one new driveway, one new intersection with signals, modifications to an existing intersection's signals, street lighting, 37 lineal feet of 6-inch sanitary sewer lateral, 620 lineal feet of storm sewer, 10 culverts, 22 storm sewer structures, 74 lineal feet of 8" watermain, 3 valves, and 2 hydrants. This work includes extensive filling and grading, temporary and permanent erosion control, traffic control, signing and marking. Work includes all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the proposal contract.
