Demolition and site work for a residential development in Hillsboro, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The City of Hillsboro seeks to prepare properties in North Hillsboro for industrial development. The two properties included in this RFP are respectively located at 25550 NW Meek Road (Tax Lot 1504) and 26290 NW Meek Road (Tax Lot 800). The structures to be removed at 25550 NW Meek Road include a large wood barn identified as Building #2 on the drawings. The City consulted with the Oregon State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) in compliance with ORS 358.653 and determined the barn is not a registered or protected structure of historical or cultural significance. However, the City is seeking, if financially responsible and logistically feasible, for building materials from the barn to be salvaged and re-used, preferably within the North Hillsboro community, to acknowledge and preserve the historical legacy of the property Completion of Work July 21, 2023 Estimated value $200K-400k *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
