Additional information on the job to demo deck/patio and replace stairs, ramp, railing at BPA Ross Campus. The stairs and ramp railing can be made with pressure treated wood - NOTE: This building is set to be demo'd sometime in the next couple of years as part of the major overhaul of Ross Campus and BPA does not want to spend a ton of money on this There is a second staircase which is included in the scope - to remove the stairs, railing, and landing at the top - and replace with composite - Trex or other. On this staircase, there is a small 'roof' over the landing at the exit door - BPA would like this roof to REMAIN - so bolter/support needed when performing the work to demo the stairs and railing. The scope of work related to composite / Trex or something like it - refers to the steps, landings, ramps, etc - the covering on the deck in the back is going to be demo'd and there is a section of gutter that will need to be added when the canopy pulled down. BPA does NOT want a new cover put over the space. The job is to pull all of the decking, ramp, stairs, and cover OFF, the back patio shown in the attached photos - then design and install a new ADA ramp and staircase leading from the back door down to the ground BPA is not going to re-install a cover - the plan is to remove all of the existing decking, ramp, stairs, and cover. There is asphalt on the ground under the current deck and BPA is going to put tables directly on the ground as wanted. Ramp, poles and Stairs could be made of aluminum
