The Contractor's analysis of the project goals, its evaluation of the work elements, and its formulation of the work plan, coupled with its understanding of and sensitivity to the key issues may produce new approaches or modifications to the project's work elements. This work covers one project at one location. All work is within Region 2 of the Colorado Department of Transportation. Project # 22169 is located within between Rye and Colorado City on State Highway 165, Pueblo County. The time for the work described in this scope of work covers a period of 30 working days from Notice to Proceed (NTP) or expiration date of Purchase Order, whichever is earlier. For majority of the project, daytime work is anticipated. Work will not be required during on weekends, holidays, and/or on a split-shift basis. Work weeks should not be more than or less than the standard 40-hour week. All work shall be in accordance with the following: CDOT's Standard Specifications for Road & Bridge Construction CDOT's M & S Standards Project Special Provisions - EXHIBIT A Project Plans - EXHIBIT B The Contractor's work and responsibilities include the following activities: Prepare and provided submittals of the materials to be used for approval prior to installation. Set up traffic control plan per Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and CDOT M&S Standards. Remove and dispose of 80 SY of asphalt mat, 36 FT of 18-inch culvert, and stop sign with post. Excavate and dispose of 105 CY of unclassified material. Grade ditch to match existing upstream and downstream of site. Stabilize soil with installation of rip rap, topsoil, soil retention blanket/reinforcement mat, and mulch. Install barricade and signs. Install fence. Clean up site and road shoulder.
