The recreation park is a new project planned for what is now essentially an empty field. The proposal should provide the best value to create a planned path forward to develop this asset and a sustainable phased-in approach to ongoing maintenance needs. The study should also explore options and provide recommendations associated with the placement of news assets or the incorporation of new user programming of the space and opportunities for efficiencies. Once the Vendor completes the study, the project owner has a clear path forward to build the recreation park that takes full advantage of the skill of the existing staff. The extent of the RFP includes a plan to go forward and costs associated with the completion of the project. This project includes geotechnical surveys provided outside the scope of this work. The project owner will make a report available to the successful Vendor to inform their work. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal in whole or in part (for example, due to budgetary constraints), to award the proposal that is in the Town's best interest and not necessarily the lowest cost and reserves the right to cancel this RFP at any time without obligation.
