Site work for a water / sewer project in Redwood City, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work of this project consists generally of: without limitation, furnishing labor, equipment and materials for the installation of new water systems, including pipes, shut off valves, air release valve, corrosion protection, thrust blocks, pipe restraints, and all associated fittings, pavement removal and replacement (including, but not limited to, asphalt concrete and Portland cement concrete pavement, slurry seal where required per Project Drawings), blow-off valve assembly installation, blow-off valve assembly and thrust block removal, miscellaneous concrete removal and replacement, valve box removal, landscape restoration, site restoration, sheeting/shoring, dewatering, connecting to and capping existing pipelines, trenching, bedding, compaction of backfill, vehicular and pedestrian traffic control and safety and all other associated work; Furnishing and installing new domestic water services, air relief valves, meter boxes and connections to new and existing watermains, and new fire hydrant assemblies connected to new and existing watermains as shown on the plans; Performing all necessary pressure testing, disinfecting and bacteriological testing of water pipe; and dust alleviation and control, storm water pollution prevention, de-chlorination of water used for disinfection before discharge and daily site cleanup.
