Renovation of a municipal facility in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of May 11, 2023, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will rebid but no definite date yet.** The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), on behalf of the Western Region Homeland Security Advisory Council (WRHSAC), invites quotes from qualified contractors for site work and electrical/HVAC installation services related to two existing Conex boxes located in Greenfield, MA. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Laws apply to all services. If the quote price exceeds $25,000, a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required from the contractor awarded the contract. MAPC reserves the right to accept or reject any and all quotes. The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), on behalf of the Western Region Homeland Security Advisory Council (WRHSAC), invites quotes from qualified contractors for site work and electrical/HVAC installation services related to two existing Conex boxes located in Greenfield, MA. Electrical and HVAC work: Install a 60 amp power feed from the main electrical panel of the east building to the location of the Conex boxes. Wiring to be installed in metal conduit, run along building to back corner, and then transferred to PVC conduit underground to pedestal. Installation of wooden pedestal, constructed of pressure treated wood and outdoor rated hardware, for mini-split mounting. Installation of weatherproof subpanel and transfer switch for generator connection on pedestal. Installation of underground PVC and wiring to each Conex box. Wiring, plumbing, and installation of one 18000 BTU mini-split HVAC unit in each box. Furnish and install insulation in Conex boxes as necessary for efficient operation of HVAC system. Installation of one circuit, for lighting and 2 general use outlets, in each box. Installation and wiring four LED light fixtures, in each box, controlled by motion sensors.
