Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Punta Gorda, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 14,406-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The project consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and local permitting for the construction of a new Maintenance and Operations Facility. The Maintenance and Operations Facility Project includes an administrative building housing the Punta Gorda Airport Operations, Badge Training, restrooms, and Airport Staff training rooms, plus an eight-bay vehicle storage canopy, and a six-bay vehicle maintenance building. The Project includes new vehicular parking lots, access roadways, signage, new vehicular and pedestrian access gates, sidewalk, chain-link security fence and gates, landscaping, area lighting and a vehicle washdown area. Associated earthwork, drainage improvements, and water/wastewater services, plus minor airfield construction phasing will be required for a new roadway connection to an existing taxiway. No allowance will be made after Bids are received for oversight by Bidder.
