Site work for a water / sewer project in Urbandale, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Urbandale, Iowa, is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms for engineering services for the design of a bank stabilization project in two locations: on Walnut Creek north of Douglas Parkway and on North Walnut Bank Stabilization north of Douglas Avenue, including performing preliminary and final design, and bidding assistance services. This project will provide bank stabilization at the following locations: 1. Along Walnut Creek adjacent sanitary sewer in Walnut Creek Regional Park south to Douglas Parkway Sunflower Park and along the 650 feet of North Walnut Creek immediately south of Douglas Avenue including the replacement of the storm sewer outfall in the rear of 8713 Horton Circle. Attend meetings with City staff during the design phase of the project. We are estimating a total of 2 meetings (kick off, concept comment review). Additional meeting may be added if deemed necessary by the consultant. if you have any question regarding this request for proposal please call me at 515-278-3950 It is the City's intent to bid this project in Fall of 2023 and have construction completed by the Spring of 2024. Related project items include grading, restoration, and associated permits. Consultant Agreement to Council May 2, 2023 Concept Plan Submittal June 19, 2023 Preliminary Plan Submittal July 24, 2023 Final Design Complete (including all permits obtained) As of July 14, 2023, no new information available
