Reference Number 0000316248 Question Acceptance Deadline 04/13/2023 12:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes The purpose of this Request for Proposals ("RFP") is to solicit competitive proposals from qualified firms and/or contractors to provide building plan check/plan review services, building inspection services, city planner services and permit counter administrative support on an "as-needed" basis for the City of East Point ("City"). The City's intent is to minimize response time and enhance customer service by supplementing in-house staff with consulting services on an "as-needed" basis in the areas of City Planner Services, Building Inspector, permit tech/clerk and CBO-Plan Reviewer Services and/or building plan check services. Positions may include, but are not limited to, plan review/plan check, CBO advisory services, building inspections, permit technician operations, city planner services at the senior level and other related services. The City of East Point, Georgia (City) is seeking proposals from qualified licensed and bonded vendors, to provide Building Inspection, City Planner, Permit and Plans Review Services as described in this Request for Proposal (RFP). The work consists of providing city planner, inspection and plans review services for various trades and disciplines. The selected vendor will provide building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural inspection, and plans review services as outlined in the City Ordinances, Georgia Building Code, ICC. The selected vendor shall provide code compliance services to enforce the city, state Building Code and ICC Building Code.
