Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Project has been Rebid This work consists of fabricating and installing cast stone and includes cleaning the substrate and setting the caps on top of the brick masonry or concrete wall. Refer to the plans and details for this work. Questions received less than 5 business days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. This work consists of reconstruction of the surface lot at the City Archives & Records Center. A certified check or bid bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 calendar days after the date and time for receiving bids. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids; to reject the Bid of a Bidder who is not, in the opinion of the Engineer or City, in a position to perform the contract; to waive informalities, irregularities and technicalities; to reject any and all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced [unreasonable unit price(s)] or conditional Bids; or to advertise for new Bids. The City also reserves the right to award the Contract in the City's best interest, and therefore, may select a Bidder other than the lowest.
