Strathcona County requires engineering consultants of various disciplines to provide engineering services for various matters related to the Utilities department, including but not limited to municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, recycled wastewater, and district energy systems. The design of stormwater systems for removal of surface water to prevent flooding. Urban areas have many impermeable surfaces which tend to concentrate water. The stormwater systems collect water via channels, culverts, pipes, drainage reserves, settling ponds. For the most part these are gravity fed systems. The stormwater outflows into rivers, lakes, tidal creeks, estuaries, coastal water and the ocean. The respondent must be a single legal entity that, if selected, intends to enter into the Master Framework Agreement described below in section 1.3. If the response is being submitted jointly by two (2) or more separate entities, the response must identify only one of those entities as the “respondent”. The respondent will be responsible for the performance of the Deliverables pursuant to any agreement awarded during the term of the Master Framework Agreement.
