Site work and paving for a civil project in Cresco, Iowa. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Concrete Pavement, Utility Street Construction and Excavation, Sewer and Water Construction, Stormwater Improvements, Street/Roadway Reconstruction Remove all existing pavement, granular base and concrete curb and gutter on 7th Street West from Highway 9 to 4th Avenue. The project will replace the existing 4-inch watermain beneath the project streets with 8-inch waterman. The existing 8-inch sanitary sewer will be reconstructed with project. New storm sewer will be constructed ranging from 15-inch to 48-inch. A stormwater pond will also be constructed. The street will be reconstructed as a 31 feet wide concrete street which will include 6 inch thick concrete with integral curb over granular base. New concrete approaches will be constructed at existing driveway locations within the street right-of-way. Sidewalk pedestrian ramps will be constructed at all intersections to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act.
