Site work and addition to an educational facility in Six Mile, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a 13,500-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The addition will be approximately 13,500 square feet and include 6 standard classrooms, 4 itinerant classrooms, and support space. The new addition will include 8 individual restrooms as well as two restrooms added to the existing school. Construction includes slab on grade, CMU, brick, metal trusses, architectural shingles, fire sprinkler, WSHPs, operable partitions, and casework. The site work includes a revised car loop, detention pond, water and sewer lines, septic tank, basketball court and fencing. Performance and Payment bond may be required in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price; therefore, subcontractors and suppliers should be prepared to state the amount necessary as an alternate amount,independent of their proposal for work, should it be determined by the General Contractor to require these bonds.
