Questions concerning a bid must be directed in writing to the designated Design Professional (architect or engineer) no less than ten (10) calendar days before bids are due unless provided otherwise via an addendum. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Remove the existing ballast and single-ply membrane roofing down to the existing insulation. Wet or damaged insulation will be removed and replaced per unit cost. New, additional rigid polyisocyanurate insulation will be installed to meet current energy code requirements. A new mechanically fastened 80 mil single-ply roof system will be installed. New prefinished metal roof drip edges will be installed. Existing coping cap will be removed and reinstalled. The new roofing system will have a 30-year warranty B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract per the Division of Public Works Fixed Price Construction Contract between Owner and Contractor. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
