The City of Lewiston, Idaho is accepting Statements of Qualifications for professional engineering services for furnishing progressive design-build services related to the 21st preservation project. The City is proceeding with a roadway preservation project on 21st Street from 7th Avenue to 19th Avenue, as well as the intersection of 5th Street & Bryden Avenue. The preservation of the existing asphalt will be accomplished through pavement quality patching and base replacement, rut-milling, filling, wedge milling the asphalt at the concrete gutters, and a fiberseal of the pavement (2 lifts). The project will also include reconstruction of pedestrian ramps at 33 corners to meet ADA standards and related utility adjustments, removal of asphalt in the gutter pan between 17th Ave and 18th Ave, and installation of 5 stormwater manholes at tee fittings. The City of Lewiston, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 US.
