The purpose of this RFP is to solicit materials for the library collection from qualified library materials vendors for certain products and services at the Lewiston City Library. Services to be provided may include shelf-ready processing of library materials- print and media. This proposal is intended to select a vendor to provide Lewiston City Library with library materials for a period of up to three years on a yearly renewable basis. The selected vendor will be the primary vendor for library materials and services. However, this will not be an exclusive contract and the City reserves the right to order from other vendors. The City of Lewiston, Idaho, is requesting proposals for library materials and materials processing services for the City of Lewiston Library. RFP documents are available on the City's website at www.cityoflewiston.org, under "How Do I" then "View Bid/RFP/RFQ Opportunities." An optional Pre-Proposal Conference will be held. All questions relating to this RFP must be emailed to the Purchasing Division, purchasing@cityoflewiston.org. The Purchasing Division must receive all questions no later. Written response to questions are provided through an addendum, and posted on the City website. Proposers may not contact other City of Lewiston officials or employees regarding this RFP. Proposals will be opened and the name of each proposer submitting a proposal will be read into public record at City Hall, 1134 F Street, Lewiston, Idaho. The Lewiston City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
