The NMFA unanimously approved the purchase of $6.2 million in general obligation bonds from Sandoval County for the purpose of planning, designing, constructing and expanding the county’s fire department water delivery system and installing cell towers. It will also help fund the third of four phases of cell tower installations for its EMS Service Communications Program started in 2016. The purpose of this project is to improve 911 communications throughout the county. The NMFA also unanimously approved the purchase of $3.1 million of the Sandoval County GO bonds in its Feb. 27 meeting. The county received voter approval in November 2024 to issue up to $3.1 million in GO bonds to upgrade some of its libraries, including renovations to the buildings. Voters also approved the county in November 2024 to issue up to $2.6 million in GO bonds for upgrades to county equipment, including improvements to its roads. Specifically, it will pave roads in District 1 and District 5 with the funds. The NMFA unanimously approved the purchase of $2.6 million of the GO bonds for this project. ___________________________________________________________________ The City of Rio Rancho, Department of Financial Services, will receive sealed proposals for Drainage Study for 19th Avenue and 10th Street NE This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the City of Rio Rancho (City) to solicit competitive sealed proposals for the award of a contract to a Consultant to provide a drainage study for 19th Avenue NE from 10th Street NE to Cherry Road. The City of Rio Rancho Procurement Code, Section 36.37, paragraph B, notes that New Mexico criminal statutes impose felony penalties for illegal bribes, gratuities, and kickbacks. The Method of the Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time
