Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Newark, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The replacement of the Blue Cut Road over Tributary to Marbletown Creek Culvert Replacement in the Village of Newark, Wayne County. Both the roadway and structure are owned and maintained by the Village of Newark. The structure will be replaced using a precast concrete three-sided frame on concrete footings supported by bedrock. The structure and adjacent approach roadway will be widened slightly to accommodate two 11-foot travel lanes, two 4-foot shoulders, and a 5-foot sidewalk. Additional improvements include construction of cast-in-place concrete wingwalls, minor profile modifications, water and sewer relocations, new approach railing, armoring of the stream channel and utility coordination with Verizon and NYSEG.
