Description: The proposed work is officially known as FY 2023 Concrete Rehabilitation and will include Class B Patching located throughout the Village of Lombard (approximate locations can be seen on the map in appendix 1 of this document. Please note that the locations are subject to change and may be added or subtracted as warranted by the Village). Overall the project consists of the construction of approximately 8,500 SY of 8" Class B Patching type IV (roughly half of the panels include monolithic curb which replacement will be considered incidental to the Class B Patching contract item), approximately 120 SY of 10" Class B Patching type IV, approximately, 400 Foot of B.6.12 and 30 Foot of B6.24 curb and gutter removal and replacement, approximately 1,000 Sq. The Village will allow the use of Graham Avenue from Main Street to Edson Avenue as a detour for Wilson Avenue during this construction staging. A conceptional "FOR BID PURPOSE ONLY" plan has been included in the appendix 1 for reference. Note patching and restoration near school locations will need to be finished prior to August 4th, before the first day of school. All of the above as well as other project details are further described in the contract documents for the said work prepared by the Village of Lombard.
