Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Defuniak Springs, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of constructing a new 68-foot concrete two-span vehicular bridge on concrete pilings on County Road 83A. The project also includes demolition of the existing double concrete box culvert on County Road 83A along with earthwork activities and rip-rap to stabilize the slopes under the proposed bridge. All questions are to be directed in writing to waljames@co.walton.fl.us. Directing Questions to Any Other Staff, Project Engineer and Any Other Person is Prohibited and Will Result in Bid Being Disqualified. Questions received after such date and time will not be answered. To be considered, Bidder must submit bid digitally on a USB THUMB DRIVE, along with ONE ORIGINAL PAPER BID, in a sealed envelope clearly marked "ITB 23-16 CR 83A Bear Creek Bridge" addressed to Bids: Central Purchasing at 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435. Bidder is responsible for the delivery of its bid. Bids received after the specified day and time will not be opened.
