The Board of County Commissioners, herein referred to as the "County", is seeking statements of qualifications from engineering consultants, licensed to practice in the State of Florida for professional engineering and consulting services to develop a Watershed Management Plan for the Walton County including the local municipalities for the purpose of moving up in the Community Rating System (CRS) of the National Florida Insurance Program (NFIP) and to increase resiliency in Walton County, Florida. Walton County requires services to develop a Watershed Management Plan for the purposes of moving up in the Community Rating System (CRS) of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and to increase resiliency in Walton County, Florida. Last date to submit questions is January 12, 2023, no later than 12:00 Noon. All questions are to be directed in writing to waljames@co.walton.fl.us. Directing Questions to Any Other Staff, Project Engineer and Any Other Person is Prohibited and Will Result in Bid Being Disqualified. . Consultants are responsible for the delivery of the qualifications package. Qualifications received after the specified day and time will not be opened. This solicitation is made in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 287.055, Laws of Florida, known as the Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA). The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
