**As of August 7, 2023, project was awarded to Strickland and Sons Excavation, LLC, awarded amount is $1,184,513.74.** The Engineer's estimated range for this project is approximately $1,050,000 to $1,250,000. The City of Kent reserves the right to amend terms of this "Request for Qualifications" (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses. Work will include asphalt planing and removal, existing storm and water system modifications, new concrete curb, sidewalk and driveway improvements, illumination upgrades, and new asphalt overlay with new striping. Planing approximately 2,000 SY of existing asphalt. Import, place, and grade 100 tons of crushed surfacing. Paving 330 tons of HMA Cl 1/2 ", PG 58V-22. 1,300 linear feet of precast and CIP concrete curb. 325 SY of sidewalk, curb ramps, and driveways. 240 SF of concrete retaining wall. Associated water system modifications. 345 LF of new storm sewer with catch basins Installation of a new and modification of existing illumination system. 1,100 feet of permanent channelization. 1,100 feet of permanent channelization.
