This project will install emergency 45 KW electric power generator sets (GENSETs) at two Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District (JVWCD) sites to maintain essential functions in the event of electric utility failure. One is natural gas fueled. The other is liquid petroleum (propane) fueled. This project installs two pre-purchased 45 kw generator units at two respective JVWCD owned sites in Salt Lake County, Utah. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Project Manager for the project. The two GENSETs and two associated automatic transfer switches will be provided by JVWCD and shall be installed by the contractor. JVWCD will provide natural gas fuel, propane tank(s), and propane fuel. GENSETs are presently stored at Jordan Valley Water Treatment Plant, 15305 South 3200 West, Herriman, Utah. The contractor will transport GENSETs to the job sites. The automatic transfer switches are stored at the respective project site for installation by the contractor.
