Site work and paving for a road / highway in Portage, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of approximately 7,180 LF of crack filling on residential and commercial streets within the City of Portage. Est. Completion Date: Sept. 22, 2023 The work to be performed under this section includes the furnishing of all materials, parts, labor, tools equipment, traffic control, and supervision necessary for the sealing of both primary (Type I) and Secondary (Type II) cracks 1/8 inch wide or greater. The work to be performed under this section also includes the furnishing of all materials, parts, labor, tools equipment, traffic control, and supervision necessary for the sealing of primary (Type I) only cracks 1/2 inch wide or greater. The locations for Crack Sealing are shown on the project map. The map is included in the "PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND DETAILS" section of the Contract Documents. The CITY reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities of work. The cost for such an increase or decrease in the quantities of work will be negotiated using the unit prices/schedule of prices for determination of reasonable cost. No allowance will be made for any increased expenses, loss of expected reimbursement, or loss of anticipated profits suffered or claimed by the CONTRACTOR resulting either directly from such alterations or indirectly from unbalanced allocation among the contract items of overhead expense on the part of the bidder and subsequent loss of expected reimbursement therefore, or from any other cause.
