Site work and paving for a civil project in Hudson, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Reference Number 0000384696 Implementation of a road closure and detour plan, removal of the existing culvert and replacement with a new precast concrete three-sided frame founded on cast-in-place concrete stub walls and footings, all necessary excavations and backfilling to set the new culvert, cast-in-place concrete wingwalls, temporary waterway diversion structures and cofferdams, new steel bridge railing, new box beam guide rail installation, and site restoration. The total reconstruction length is approximately 125 feet. Participation Requirements - Minority Business Participation - Service-Disabled Veteran Owned - Women-Owned Business Participation General Requirements - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five per centum (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will provide performance & payment bonds, insurance, and execute the contract. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. Woman and minority owned bidders are encouraged to submit proposals. Columbia County is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals or any part thereof. The requirements of this contract have the following utilization goals and participation requirements: Minority-owned Business Subcontracting Goal: 7% Women-owned Business Subcontracting Goal: 11% Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Business Subcontracting Goal: 6% Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting Goal: 0% Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) goal for Minority Participation is 2.6%. The EEO Women Participation is 6.9% All work items of the Contract shall be substantially completed within 120 calendar days following the date the Contractor is notified to proceed with the work unless such period is extended by the Owner as provided herein. Columbia County reserves the right to consider the bids for forty-five (45) days after receipt before awarding any Contract, and to waive any informalities in, and to reject, any and all bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be for the best interest of the County.
