Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hudson, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; municipal facility; and retail development.

Reference Number 0000388751 The construction will be interior renovations of the building. Th building has been specifically designed and arranged to accommodate three (3) Columbia County, NY Departments. In addition to providing all needed labor, materials, tools, equipment, etc., the County has made material purchases for various items that are required to be installed by the selected Contractors. the Renovations for 11 Warren Street in Hudson, NY, a single story former office/retail/school building use in downtown Hudson, NY. General Requirements - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid, payable to the order of Columbia County Treasurer, or a bond with sufficient sureties, to be approved by the County Attorney, in such amount, conditioned that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will enter into a contract for same and will provide acceptable security, in the form of cash, certified check or performance bonds, or letters of credit, as set forth in the contract documents. The County of Columbia reserves the right, in its discretion, to waive technical noncompliance or irregularities that are not material or substantial, and to reject all bids and to rebid the project. Those who wish to download the documents and wish to be placed on a list to receive information regarding this project as it is released MUST Register with the Columbia County Department of Public Works Engineering Department by sending an email directly to barbara.otty@columbiacountyny.com. A. The construction will include all required materials, tools, labor, new equipment; training, support, and expertise, to perform the interior renovation of the existing building. This will include, but not be limited to, selective demolition and interior construction. The Owner has made purchases of materials which will require the selected Contractors to install. These are noted on the Construction Drawings. B. The Contractors shall be responsible for all removal, transportation and disposal of items identified for demolition, all construction identified, and coordination with the Owner for: Owner purchased materials Owner arranged agreements with other entities providing materials and labor for special items Meeting all regulations of the City of Hudson, NY Coordination of construction actions among the four (4) Prime Contractorss Scheduling Security of the building and the materials for the building Contract #1 - General Construction Work The work in the General Construction Contract includes, but is not limited to: Partial and complete wall removals and construction Flooring and floor covering removals and installations Ceiling removals and installations Door and window modifications/construction Finishes Insulation Installation of gear lockers, shelving, etc. Existing floor slab cutting, trenching & slab replacement Patch and repair of removals/modifications by others Close Out, Final Cleaning and Demobilization. The above is primarily outlined on the Architectural Drawings. Coordination is required.
