Work Location:1.- 3427 Club House Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia (Bow Creek Recreation Center) and 2.- 5252 Learning Circle, Virginia Beach Virginia (Williams Farm Recreation Center) Summary: Replastering of the pool, replacement of waterslide, replacement of waterslide stairs and railings for Williams Farm Recreation Center. Work includes removal, refinishing and reinstallation of the existing waterslide, waterslide stair and landing components for Bow Creek Recreation Center. All questions relative to the bid documents must be submitted at least ten (10) calendar days prior to bid opening, to assure distribution of information in the form of an addendum, to all interested parties. After this, no questions, clarifications, or interpretation of bidding documents will be considered until after bids are opened Furnish labor, material, equipment and services for partial demolition of the existing waterslide installation and then the reinstallation of the fiberglass waterslide flume sections and waterslide start tower components fully a complete waterslide system at the Williams Farm Recreation Center. B. Williams Farm Recreation Center Scope of Work: Furnish and install fiberglass waterslides and components as indicated on the drawings, specified herein, and as necessary for proper completion including, but is not necessarily limited to: 1. Fiberglass flume components. 2. Tower, platforms, stairways and related supports. 3. Installation supervision, ride testing and certification. 4. Labor, materials and equipment to complete the installation. 5. Operations and maintenance manuals. 6. On site startup training. 7. Proper signage as requiredC. Bow Creek Recreation Center Scope of Work: Disassembly and reassembly of the existing waterslide, stairs, railings, and slide tower platform along with new fiberglass stair treads. D. Related work specified elsewhere (completed by others): 1. Demolition and repairs to decks, fences and landscaping. 2. Electrical works, buildings, permits and modifications to the pool walls and waterslide areas. 3. Supply and installation of pool piping as necessary for slide operation. 4. Building wall and pool wall penetrations, weather proofing and/or sealing of building penetrations once waterslide is installed. 5. The waterslide manufacturer will need adequate access at all times to and around the area of the waterslide for demolition and installation. The installer to become familiar with the limitations for construction activities based upon the existing building and site conditions
